EMMURE: Australian Tour Postponed

New Fairfield, Connecticut- and Queens, New York-based deathcore act EMMURE has been forced to postpone its previously announced tour of Australia "due to circumstances beyond the band's control." According to a press release, "[EMMURE] will make their long-anticipated return Down Under in May/June this year to tour their new album with dates and venues to be confirmed. The band offers their sincere apologies and refunds are available at the point of purchase for all ticket holders."

EMMURE's new album, "Speaker Of The Dead", is scheduled for release on February 15, 2011 through Victory Records. The CD was produced by Joey Sturgis, who has previously worked with THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA and BORN OF OSIRIS, among others.

EMMURE's third full-length album, "Felony", sold 7,800 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 68 on The Billboard 200 chart.
